Course: Basic Jewelry Repair & Bench Work

Basic jewelry repair and diamond setting: All the skills you need to set up a profitable repair shop or improve an existing one.
Ring sizing: Sizing up and down, also learn the Kagan band sizer and stone ring sizer.
Chain soldering: Learn different techniques on herringbone, rope, box, triple link and various other small solder jobs including charms, o-rings and earring posts.
Prong Tipping & Prong Rebuilding: Learn to re-tip stone rings and how to replace whole prongs. Replacing a tiffany head, also learn to replace whole and half shanks.
Stone Setting: Learn to set round tiffany and other various shape settings.
Finishing: Diamond pave, brush, mizzy wheel and hammer.
Rhodium Plating: Popular technique used to add a bright finish on white-gold jewelry.

Class Schedule: Five full-days (10am-5pm / Tuesday thru Saturday)
